*snickr*

I look back on my life and realize that I spent all of it writing love letters.

About Me

Real life concedes a certain amount of honesty in exchange for harmony. After all, you see these people every day. But, as the Web has no such limitation, it affords the opportunity to be completely candid. Who are you really? Are you interesting? I thought that people would use the Web to share their unfiltered selves. It would be a grand experiment. We would see what would happen. Maybe it would propel humanity to a new level of self-awareness, or maybe it would explode into war. Either way, it was going to be exciting.

You can imagine my disappointment.

I am forty-one years old. I am currently single; I even have a cat. I bite my fingernails. I live in a northern neighborhood of Seattle, but I’m from Boston. I read. I don’t have a television, a fact I occasionally regret.  I used to spend my free time building online resources for writers, a site called afterDinner being the most well-known. I was one of the original contributors to The Fray. I was married to Fireland. I read mysteries and nonfiction, I study myths and neuroscience, I’m a mastermind super villian, and I sprinkle faerie dust everywhere I go.

I’m happy to correspond, if you’re so inclined: I am snickrgirl, using GMail.
